Jazz
Some identifying characteristics of jazz dance are a low center of gravity and high level of energy. Moves used in jazz include Jazz Hands, Kicks, Leaps, Rolled Shoulders, Sideways Shuffling and Turned Knees.
Other elements of jazz are less common and are the stylizations of their respective choreographers such as the inverted limbs and hunched-over posture of Bob Fosse.
Whether it's dancing the precision moves that became know as Fosse Jazz from the great Bob Fosse or regular jazz classes; this is a great way to be introduced to the style of dance called JAZZ.
